Introducing Community Rewards!

We're super excited to be launching 'Algae', and to celebrate we've released Community Rewards! All you need to do is, as a community, fulfil the achievements we've set out at https://algae.purplekingdom.games/community/. When you unlock 10 or more achievements we'll start unlocking new rewards for you!

What can you expect to get? Free stuff of course! That ranges from something small, like a 4k Wallpaper, to new Algae content, to releasing our games to you for free!

In our latest release we've introduced 2 new Algae personalities - watch out for them the next time you clone!

We've also noticed a bug in some versions of macOS where the game would hang on the pause menu, which should now be fixed.

Ever wonder what lurks at the bottom of a cup you've left on the side for 3 weeks and haven't washed up yet? What strange world has evolved and grown in there at that microscopic level?

In this episodic 2D Puzzle-Platformer, you take on brain bending challenges by cloning your Algae and morphing them into new and exciting tools, all in a bid to escape! With four difficulty levels (including the aptly named 'Impossible' difficulty) master your skills and free as many Algae as possible.

In Episode 1 experience the microscopic world of the beaker and navigate enemies that will stop at nothing to prevent Algae from reaching their goal. Subsequent episode will take Algae on bigger journeys and onwards to larger worlds, including bonus levels and new exciting personalities and skins.
