Welcome to the world of ELDERBORN. There's a dungeon full of lurking ancient evil that needs to be put down back to eternal sleep. Admit it, you missed it. A mysterious ancient ruin full of traps and monsters, the weight of the weapon in your muscular hand, an adventure full of action that brings back the best memories of heroic fantasy classics. ELDERBORN is an first person-perspective action game with dynamic, skill-based melee combat, in which you fight your way through a dark, mysterious dungeon. Here to answer your barbaric urges.
You will love ELDERBORN:
“Growing up reading Conan, watching fantasy B-movies on VHS, playing Doom, listening to Man o’ War, and admiring Simon Bisley’s art in Slaine we’ve developed a very special taste and sense of what’s cool. Fast forward a few decades, full of inspiration such as Deathtrap Dungeon, Die by the Sword, Severance: The Blade of Darkness, Dark Messiah of Might and Magic, or the Dark Souls series. We are now game developing “adults”, and lo and behold - our vision embodied in a game. ELDERBORN had to look and feel exactly as it does, and we’re pretty sure it kicks ass.”
You will love ELDERBORN:
- If you ever wanted to crush your enemies, see you driven before you, and hear the lamentation of their women
- If you’re a sucker for skill-based melee combat and subscribe to the GIT GUD philosophy of gaming
- If you’re sick of procedurally-generated content and would like to explore an extensive, carefully hand-designed, devious dungeon for a change
- If feel that the joy of sending an enemy flying to their death with a well-placed kick is something, that’s been missing from your life
- If you always wanted to find out how Doom would feel if it had swords and and a warhammer instead of guns
- If you miss the old school feel of challenge in a game that does not hold your hand
- If you pray at the altars of Dio, Lemmy and other mighty Gods of Metal
