An Adventure Awaits . . .
Kanna is a narrative-driven fantasy adventure game where ancient and dark magic has shaped the history of the island.
After a vicious storm, you wash up on Kanna as the survivor of a shipwreck. You quickly learn that the island of Kanna is in danger and as the result of a powerful spell, no one is able to leave the island as long as the threat remains. Surrounded by a seemingly endless body of water, Kanna used its magic to pull boats and explorers to its lands in the hopes of finding a hero who will save it once and for all.
You are the hero of this story. Kanna has been waiting for you.
EPISODIC NARRATIVE
The story will be unveiled over the course of five episodes. Each episode will be released on a 10 to 12 week schedule.
If you buy the game during early access, you will have access to Chapter One and all chapters that are released after it.
The chapter updates include: new main quests, side quests, dialogue, etc.
Watch Kanna change as the story unfolds and your hero’s story expands!
EXPLORE A LIVING WORLD
With 4.2K acres of terrain, 20 animals, 7 dragons, 10 main towns and other areas of interest, there are plenty of places to explore on this mysterious land. Discover hidden treasures, make animals your companions, and catch the beautiful sunset as the day turns to night.
CUSTOM CHARACTER
Your hero is your own! Customize your character’s head, torso, arms, legs, and even feet! Do you want to change your hairstyle later? Well, you’re in luck! Venture into town and ask a barber to give you a new and fresh hairdo! They are happy to do it.
BUY A HOME
You’re going to be on Kanna for awhile. Why not find a place to call your own? Each town will have a home that you can buy. Even better, you can customize the interior with a variety of buildable items.
CRAFTING & COOKING
Crafting and cooking are vital to your hero’s survival on Kanna! Craft special weapons, armor, potions, and cook your favorite meal. There’s nothing worse than fighting enemies on an empty stomach.
DUNGEONS & PUZZLES
You will encounter many challenges during your journey. Be ready, because each chapter will provide new dungeons and puzzles for you to complete. Some require brute force and others require patience and planning. ALL will reward you for your efforts!
PLAY YOUR WAY
In this open-world game, you can complete quests at your own pace. The narrative is there when you want to follow it, but if you prefer to do side quests, forage, collect resources, craft, decorate your home, or go treasure hunting, the whole world is here for your enjoyment!
