Описание Survive Together
Survive Together is a 2D world simulator where players are thrown into the many perils of nature, and together, overcome them to build a thriving empire.
Please keep in mind that the game is in very early development and the below is subject to change.
When creating a new game you can choose a few starting options. You can start solo, start in the womb with just one parent, start with a small tribe of 4 members or a larger village with 15 members. Villages can currently hold up to 20 living members at a time, and existing members have a chance to get pregnant if a spot is available. You can also choose whether to have night cycles and night attacks enabled.
Once in the game, you can begin interacting with the environment. The journey begins by taking a simple rock and sharpening it on a boulder to make your first cutting tool. From there, you can hover the mouse over an object and press "G" to get more detailed information on what an item is, what it does, how to craft it, etc. The same can be done by pressing "H" to examine an item being held. Your goal is to help your village become an empire, piece by piece, starting with a few basic tools and eventually constructing buildings and road systems. In time, you may find your village either allied or at war with other villages depending on the course of events.
NPC villagers will also automatically help construct the villages. They'll become builders, foragers, hunters, carpenters, or even the leader of the village itself. In single-player modes you'll be able to change your character at will by clicking them while holding control. Just like you, they will eat, rest, have children and fight to protect the village.
With night attacks enabled, each night the attacks will get harder until eventually your village won't be able to survive, so building a powerful empire as quickly as possible will make the difference between victory and defeat.
You can also enable Twitch integration, where the game will interact with a specific Twitch channel (set in options). Viewers of the channel can use commands such as !play to join the game using their Twitch name, as well as other commands such as !view to follow your character. Many more commands will be added as time goes on, and hopefully we'll see some interesting community based adventures in the future.
The game takes place primarily on a large island world which currently contains three different biomes, separated by geographic location. The continent is surrounded by water, and if you make it beyond that you can reach the abyss of space. Each biome will behave differently, for example grass won't spawn in the arctic, and gold ore deposits won't exist in the grasslands. Temperature, weather effects, player attributes, etc will change based on biome as well. For example, your thirst meter will drop much faster in the desert than in the grasslands or arctic.
Besides playing single-player, you can also play online. You can host a game which can be joined directly via IP or from the in-game server browser. In time I plan to add functionality so that you can join others via the Steam friend's list. If you wish to set up a dedicated server, there's an option within the game for that as well.
Age - Currently there are only three stages of development (pregnancy, baby and adult). Eventually characters will slowly grow up through childhood, adolescence and old age.
Customization - Hair styles, eye color, skin tone, etc to make the player unique. Currently there are a few hair styles but there should be at least 20 hair styles, 4 eye colors and 5 skin tones.
Personalities - Characters will inherit traits from their parents and develop new ones throughout their lives. Traits such as laziness, bravery, anger, etc will be used to determine how the different characters will behave.
Relationships - Villagers will remember interacting with other villagers and develop either good or bad relationships with them. This will cause them to behave differently with them, either joining up with them if they decide to leave a village and start a new one, want them exiled from the village, or even murder them.
Families - As characters have children, bonds of blood will be made (brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles, etc) which will impact their relationships.
Scoring - There's a basic scoring system right now that's used to determine the leader of a town, but it needs to be expanded beyond just those simple tasks. The more good you do, the higher your score will be, and the more perks you'll have (such as a longer lifespan, royalty, maybe even a town statue of the player, etc).
More Professions - A system where players are assigned unique roles for advanced crafting/abilities (for example a town baker that can craft highly efficient pies, or a blacksmith that can craft special weapons). We currently have a few professions (leader, hunter and carpenter) but many more are still needed.
More Animals - That can be hunted, tamed and bred. We currently have squirrels and rats in the game, but many more are expected to come.
More Items - Lots more items...never enough items...
More Graphics - More variety of each item type (multiple versions of blueberry bushes, boulders, etc) and also better looking images.
Join off Steam Friend List - So that you can join other games from the Steam friends list.
Detailed Tutorial - I want to create tutorial scenarios for every crafted item, every town mission, every profession task and some other basics. For the more advanced tutorials (for example, crafting advanced foods as a chef) the town leader will be able to see who has completed what tutorials (or successfully completed the same in-game) while assigning professions and tasks, making it easier to guarantee that someone knows what they're doing.
Caste System - Have you been performing well in your previous life, getting as high scores? Your overall score will go up then. Performing badly? Your score goes down. Depending on your score and the era of the town, you may spawn into different castes. Score too low, and you'll end up born a slave, unable to attack or steal from your shackles. Score high, and you may be born royalty, with the privilege of a larger property and more.
Cultures - Where the villages will develop differently based on location and leadership. For example a desert tribe will make more use of sand in their structures and tools, while a snow tribe will make use of ice and rare metals. There will also be different styles of village layouts depending on the leader's choice.
Magic - A system where players can harness magical energy and use that energy to create spells, open portals, enchant items, etc.
The hope is to also take in feedback from the community and to add the most popular ideas into the game. If you have an idea that you and others might like, suggest it!
