Journey through Edo period Japan as you fight demons and explore dungeons to save Japan from demon lord Oden in Blade of the Yokai. You'll play as Katsuro, a teenage boy who lives a peaceful life in Asahi village until the demon lord Oden comes into his life and threatens to take over Japan and the whole world. 

EXPLORATION IS KEY:

Blade of the Yokai is designed around exploration. You'll travel across a few big regions: The forest, the coast, and the mountain. Each region has a dungeon for you to beat. You'll also have plenty of secrets to find if you look hard enough.

USE YOUR WEAPONS WISELY:

As you progress through the game, you'll find new weapons that you can use to fight the demons. You will also need to use those weapons to unlock new ways to explore.

HELP OUT THE VILLAGE:

Asahi village will serve as the main hub for this game. You'll find some side quests from villagers who require your assistance. Lend them a hand, and you will get some rewards as a thank you.
