Their shared goal is to survive the merciless human egg collection, which drives them into brutal battles over unawakened eggs. These eggs are their only chance—serving as replacements for their own shells and giving them hope for a few more days of life, at least until the next collection. Life for an eggon is as fragile as a shell, but the hardest part will be discovering who is a true friend and who is an enemy.
