RplGenStudio is a specialized video production software designed for creating videos similar to galgames, tabletop game replays, and audio-visual novels.
The idea of creating RplGenStudio originated from my experience producing a visual radio drama several years ago. Back then, there were limited convenient production tools available, and I had to manually create everything using Premiere Pro. It took over 200 hours of work to produce a 90-minute video. Since then, I have been contemplating how to automate repetitive tasks in creating highly formatted videos.
In late 2021, inspired by the "搓个replay" tool created by the renowned tabletop game content creator Elanta, I decided to develop a video production software with a different focus. Through conversations with Elanta, we identified pain points in video production and conceptualized the software, which eventually evolved into RplGenStudio.
