Epic Party Quest is our response to the growing popularity of local multiplayer party games in the time of pandemic house gatherings and streaming popularity. It is a „classic” party game, but with a fantasy pixel art style, customizable session time, and without board game elements – but with the narrative layout, for more immersive action RPG-like gameplay.

Wide variety of competitive mini-games to enjoy classic fantasy realms (Desert, Ice, Dungeon, Spooky, and Skyland), accompanied by tavern bonus games and Final Boss fights!

Classic fantasy retro themed Style!
Graphic style refers to the golden age of pixel art, from SNES to Gameboy Advance, and classic fantasy games.

Choose your own adventure!
Gameloop consists of a mix that creates an immersion that many games in the genre lack – scenes separate mini-games in an interactive and ever-changing tavern acting as a lobby, in which characters interact emotionally with each other during visual novel-style conversations. After this intermission players decide which flashback quest to play next!
The feeling of full gameplay is less like an unconnected streak of mini-games in the style of a board game, but rather like a shared experience of a full cooperative action RPG game!

Dynamic gameplay!
With the different lengths of the game sessions and intense action, players always have time to play a game with their friends, be it 15 minutes, one hour, or more!
Also, thanks to the competitive design of mini-games, players can play endlessly – and the gameplay is a little different every time!

Unlockables!
By playing full game sessions, players unlock achievements, additional skins (color and full appearance change) for characters and mini-games (eg. night-day cycles), new events in the tavern lobby, and the main menu!

Mobile phones as controllers!
To enjoy the intense couch multiplayer players don’t need four gamepads – they can use their mobile phones as controllers (by Wi-Fi connection) for a quick, spontaneous game session with friends and family!

Music!
Our game has distinct catchy and easy to hum retro-themed tunes, with a modern touch – varied from classic 8 and 16bit music to modern RPG orchestrations.

Narrative!
Through the sequence of mini-games, their course and results, and randomly generated dialogues in the tavern, the players create their own retrospective story about saving the world in each game.
