Dunkeep is an upcoming RPG adventure game mixed with casual life-sim elements.
In the semi-open world of Dunkeep you play as a monster who moved back to town to take over the old tavern you inherited from your parents. Not long after you find out the secret to your parents success; a secret dungeon entrance in the back of the dungeon. During the day you will run your tavern, interact with a variety of characters, sell a large selection of food and drink as well as rare items you come across, and much more. At night you enter the dungeons and collect as much as you can before the next day with very little time until you increase your skills enough to increase your vitality in the dungeons.
Build Your Own Tavern
The tavern is one of the game’s key elements to progressing while playing Dunkeep. Enter an open and compelling environment where you can serve customers, sell and buy items from merchants, accept quests, cook, craft, expand, decorate, and more.
Surviving The Dungeon
The dungeon is found at an entrance of a lost tunnel connected directly to the tavern where you enter each night to fight your way through enemies to collect everything you need for the another day in the tavern. You only have a limited time to gather resources and survive so the only way to progress is to continue to develop your skills and become strong enough to conquer major milestones.
A Rich Cooking System
Cooking in Dunkeep is no easy feat, find many different variations of ingredients and combine them at a selection of different cooking stations to discover unique recipes to sell to your customers or to create special fermentations and potions to sell or consume for yourself.
