You are a member of the expedition of Juan Ponce de Leon in search of the Fountain of Youth, a widely known historical event of the Age of Discovery. Having survived a shipwreck, you have to learn to live on an uninhabited island: hunt, gather and manage resources, build shelters, discover new technologies, develop skills, resist diseases and weather conditions, and fight predators. Your goals are figuring out the fate of the extinct Indian civilization and your shipwrecked crew, exploring the archipelago, gradually building an exceptional ship, as well as finding the Fountain of Youth.
There will be hundreds of items that are necessary for survival, from the simplest tools made of sticks and stones to advanced technologies of the era: muskets, cannons, navigational tools and sailing ships.
To move between the islands, you will be able to build various sea vessels and test your survival skills not only on land but also in the open sea. When aiming to cover a long distance, you’ll need to carefully prepare for your travels, store food, water and medicine, repair and upgrade your ships.
Each island is different with its landscape, climate, flora, fauna and resources. You may arrange shelters on each one, chart efficient routes and build your own bases on the ruins of an ancient civilization with lots of mysteries and treasures hidden.
You will dive into the vortex of exciting events but it is for you to decide how much you want to know about the events on the archipelago. The storyline is always there to follow and you will be able to learn a lot from the remnants and artifacts of disappeared tribes. Which path will you take to reach the main goal of the expedition? The choice is yours.
