Casual Game Engine is another playground for both gamers and developers. With the game engine you can create your own singleplayer mini-games in 2D in top-down perspective using AngelScript. You can then upload your mini-game to the Steam Workshop to make it available for other players and developers.

CGE is not a common game which you download and play. It is really made for developers, for people who like game modding. Who want to be part of a symbosis of gaming and development.

Your personal mini-games can contain multiple maps. Think of them as a campaign of your own very special game package. The goal of each mini-game is to start from one point and reach a goal (which is displayed as a portal). Until reaching that goal, various entities can cross your way! Be it obstacles that can hurt your player, enemies who attack you, or simple triggers you need to activate to proceed further.
